Beliau terkenal dengan karya seni arca dan teknik fotorealistik dalam pencahayaan dan rendering. Sepanjang kerjayanya, Hoe Yi memenangi pelbagai anugerah antarabangsa yang telah mendapat pengiktirafannya dalam Industri Grafik Komputer (CG), seperti Pemenang Anugerah CG Choice Award CG Society (2009), Anugerah Kecemerlangan 3D Total, Anugerah Evermotion dan lain-lain. Sejak itu, Hoe Yi telah mendedikasikan kerjayanya kepada pendidikan lebih daripada 14 tahun, mengajar generasi baharu yang meminati pelajar CG. Selain itu, Hoe Yi telah mengadakan bengkel dan perkongsian bengkel di beberapa persidangan industri CG utama di Malaysia.    <\/p>\n<p>Tidak lupa memperbaiki diri, Hoe Yi terus meneruskan pembelajaran bagaimana menjadi pendidik yang lebih baik kepada pelajarnya.
